With age or maintenance issues, the junction where the wing leading edge spar slides over the attach point on the fuselage weldment can become loose and sloppy. These spar sleeves make it easy to rework the joint and tighten it up like new.

Installation is easy, just remove the metal tabs in the leading edge spar, apply epoxy, slide sleeve into the spar, then drill and install new rivets.
